Timewise Replenshing Serum + C

The body can’t produce vitamin C on its own, nor can it store it, which is why you NEED, need, need, need a continuous supply.

According to the experts, vitamin C plays a significant role in stimulating the synthesis of skin-firming collagen,
which is why extracts of this vitamin are considered beneficial as a skin care ingredient.

Need a lift?

TimeWise Replenishing Serum+C has benefits that can help. This antioxidant-rich serum is formulated with ingredients that help keep existing collagen from breaking down. It also contains ingredients known to support elastin, a protein that gives skin its elasticity or “spring.”

The overall effect? Positively uplifting.

Key ingredients and functions:

Pomegranate extract (Punica granatum) Pomegranate is often referred to as a “superfruit” because of the large number of vitamins it contains. This fruit has a high level of vitamin C, other vitamins and antioxidants, and has been used for centuries to help reduce the effects of oxidative stress.

Kakadu Plum extract (Terminalia
ferdinandiana) This extract is derived from the kakadu plum, a fruit reported to have the highest concentration of Vitamin C. For example, the amount of vitamin C in 3 ½ ounces of kakadu
plum is 3000 mg, while the same amount of orange contains just 50 mg.

Camu Camu extract (Myrciaria dubia) The fruit of the camu camu tree, which is the source of this extract, is known to have the second highest level of vitamin C of any fruit. The tree grows in the rainforests of South America and is extremely tolerant of the extreme weather conditions found there.

Acerola Cherry extract (Malpighia
punicifolia) The acerola cherry is especially rich in vitamins C and A, and this fruit has been shown to have powerful antioxidant benefits.

Black Currant Berry extract (Ribes nigrum) Black currant berries contain high levels of vitamin C and other vitamins and minerals.

Argan seed extract (Argania spinosa) A botanical extract derived from the argan tree, which grows only in Africa. Groves of argan trees provide the last barrier against the desert.

This Vitamin C Serum is my FAVEEE. It smells so good (No added fragrance but Kakadu Plum Extract gives it a glorious fresh scent). This stuff does it all – brightens, evens complexion, reduces hyperpigmentation/acne scarring, reduces fine lines/wrinkles & improves texture. Watch your skin drink up this amazing vitamin complex & GLOW!!!

Celiac Disease & Gluten

Women now a days seem to be more sensitive and have more allergies. I am no expert on anything to do with diseases nor am I a doctor, I am a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and what that means to me is that I learn everything I can about our products so I can help women have the same amazing skin as I do, the glow I do, and be happy with their skin and skin care products.

I love to help people, it is what I was born to do, be of service.

I read this off the Mary Kay Canada website and thought it deserves a share and read, love to receive comments:

“Mary Kay products are not tested specifically for gluten content, and we cannot guarantee our products are completely gluten-free. For individuals who want to use Mary Kay products, we hope the information below is helpful.

The Company adheres to strict production standards. We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for all of our products and ensure equipment used for processing is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to reuse. The ingredients of any Mary Kay product are listed on each individual product’s packaging, as required by law in Canada.

Research has shown topical application of gluten does not produce a celiac-related skin reaction, and a responsible, scientific authority indicates nonmouth-area cosmetic products are not of concern unless swallowed. However, some individuals may still choose to avoid nonlip-area personal care products potentially containing sources of gluten to help avoid ingestion via hands, contact with food, etc. If you experience challenges resulting from use of any personal care product, consultation with a qualified physician may be helpful in determining if you have additional sensitivities or allergies.

We have evaluated the ingredients currently used at Mary Kay to provide a list of possible gluten-containing ingredients derived from wheat, rye, barley, and oats. This list can be used to help guide product selection; however, because we use a large number of ingredients provided by multiple suppliers, it is not possible to guarantee our products are completely gluten-free.

Although the list has been evaluated to the best of our knowledge, the list may not be exhaustive and may change with new product introductions and possible formula changes. The following information applies only to current, regular-line Mary Kay products and does not include limited edition products (i.e. products sold only for a limited time, while supplies last).

The following ingredients are derived from wheat, rye, barley or oats:

  • Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract
  • Dextran
  • Gliadin
  • Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein
  • Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein Hydroxypropyl Polysiloxane
  • Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein PG-Propyl Silanetriol
  • Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin
  • Maltodextrin
  • Oat Flour
  • Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract
  • Secale Cereale (Rye) Seed Extract
  • Yeast Extract

(The Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil used in Mary Kay products is derived from soy, cottonseed or palm kernel.)

Individuals who are under the care of a physician or who have known medical conditions potentially affected by use of personal care products should consult with a physician to discuss product use. A physician can best advise your customer of which products/product types might be appropriate for her. Ultimately, it is each individual’s responsibility to work with a physician to make an informed product choice based on individual needs. Once specific guidance is provided by a physician (e.g. exact ingredients of interest, etc.), we will be happy to provide further assistance.

So what is “Gluten” anyways??

It is the protein found in wheat, rye and barley flours that reacts when mixed with water. Such a little simple thing that causes so much pain for people.

So what is “Celiac disease”??

It is an auto-immune disorder in which eating gluten causes the lining of the body’s small intestine to become inflamed. Many women suffer from this and I send out lots of love to you 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Ladies I am here for you, to help guide you through this big world of skin care and cosmetics. You can always trust me, I won’t lie, make up anything or tell you I know something when I don’t. I am here to help!

Beauty Industry First..

What is its superpower??

It’s not a liquid. It’s not a powder. It’s a revolutionary skin care innovation so small, it can sit on your fingertip; so powerful, it can supercharge your serum. It is small but mighty!
You know that excitement and “gotta-have” feeling when a new product comes on the market….a product that is a “Beauty Industry First”? It’s alluring, right?

Today, my blog is about the TimeWise Vitamin C Activating Squares, oooooo aaaaaaaa sounds healthy….it is also the Product of the Month for November.

A little square packed with Vitamin C has the power to make your skin feel noticeably softer and firmer in just two weeks. When used with one of our powerful serums, the squares become supercharged, improving skin tone and fine lines.

In just two weeks, skin looks more radiant and even-toned, and fine lines and wrinkles look improved. Love improving wrinkles!!

BENEFITS AT-A-GLANCE

  • This beauty-industry first uses breakthrough technology that delivers pure vitamin C to your skin in a tiny, dissolvable square.
  • When dissolved in the palm of your hand, a stabilized derivative of vitamin C contained in the square gets transformed into pure vitamin C on your skin.
  • When paired with a Mary Kay® face serum, it supercharges that serum with a benefits boost.

Fresh every time. Pure vitamin C degrades and loses its power over time when exposed to air, light or water. But now that problem’s solved with a breakthrough in technology that keeps the pure vitamin C stable until you unlock its power with
every use.

Why does my skin need vitamin C?

Just as vitamins are important to your health, vitamin C is important for helping skin fight the multiple signs of aging. And since the body can’t produce vitamin C on its own or store it for long periods of time, it needs to be replenished on regular basis. This powerhouse vitamin is known to help skin look more radiant and even-
toned, but it also plays a role in supporting natural collagen and elastin to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

According to dermatologists and research scientists, vitamin C plays a significant role in stimulating the synthesis of skin-firming collagen, which is why extracts of this vitamin are considered beneficial as a skin care ingredient.

🧡🧡Love my Vitamin C 🧡🧡

I use my Vitamin C Activing Squares twice a week, they only add a minute to my night time routine. Being pure vitamin C, I recommend night time use only.
